‘Severance’ star Tramell Tillman defends his Swedish pronunciation to Stephen Colbert

Mr Milchick (Tramell Tillman) is certainly one of many funniest characters in Severance, and the scene wherein he tells a narrative in regards to the King of Sweden is wonderful proof.

The second from Season 2, episode 5, which includes Milchick saying the made-up Swedish phrase “grÃ¥kappan” (it means a grey cloak within the story), went viral on X, with many Swedish people commenting on Milchick’s exaggerated pronunciation of the phrase.

Tillman’s clarification in The Late Present clip above? He took inspiration from Betty White’s character in Golden Ladies, after which examined three totally different pronunciations throughout filming. The one which made the crew chortle the toughest was the one they went with.
